Lucinda Green Clinic
This week we had a real treat when Lucinda Green came to run a clininc at the yard. We had a host of top riders attending including:
Belgian Olympic event rider - Constantin Van Rijkervorsel
International 4 Star rider - Therese Van Rijkervorsel
Top Swedish eventer - Anna Hilton
International 4 star rider - Georgia Bale
and
Lissa Green - Lucinda's daughter and an exceptional rider in her own right.
I was also lucky enough to take part on the two hunt horses Imp and Flint (owned by Mrs Yvonne Ferguson) both of whom I've been competing at Novice level this season.
Lessons ran from early morning on the younger horses through until the afternoon when the most advanced horses finished last.
Everybody had a great time and learn't a lot from the sessions.
Thank you Lucinda for a great day!

Spring is on it's way!!
Here at Golden Oak Eventing we are gearing up for the Spring season with plenty of Cross-country training outings and attending local Combined Training competitions in preparation for the Eventing season. Our first event will be Munstead ODE and we have a number of horses from the yard competing in both the BE90 and BE100 classes. Here's hoping the season kicks off with some pleasing results!
The yard has a great atmosphere at the moment with the fantastic mix of clients we have coupled with the much awaited up-turn in the weather! At present we have only 3 stables left for Full or Part livery clients!
We also have the very welcome addition of our new groom Lucy Healy. Lucy is a student at Plumpton College studying Horse Management and she is attending the yard on a weekend basis for now, with the intention of starting full-time at the end of May when she completes her college course.
